Cool Fire Technologies Awarded Five Year Master Contractor For Hardware and Related Services by the State of Maryland

Contract Allows Cool Fire Technologies to Offer Various Hardware and Support Options to the State of Maryland, as well as Local, Municipal and Educational Agencies.

Havre de Grace, Md., December 13, 2007 – Cool Fire Technologies, LLC, an Information Technology company, announced that it has been granted Master Contractor status by the State of Maryland Department of Budget and Management. Cool Fire Technologies recently grew from the Higher Education and Applied Technology business incubator in Aberdeen to their new office in the historic district in Havre de Grace.

The Master Contractor award is a five year contract that will allow Cool Fire to bid on hardware, maintenance, and installation through the state's Hardware and Associated Equipment and Services Contract. This gives the company the ability to enhance and support the growing technology needs of the state. With this new contract, Cool Fire can offer state, local and municipal agencies as well as educational institutions solutions to enhance their return on investment for computer systems, document management and network infrastructure.

Under the terms of the new Hardware and Associated Equipment and Services contract vehicle, Cool Fire is authorized to provide microcomputers, PCs, servers and associated peripherals, network communications equipment and manufacturer’s extended warranty service. Cool Fire can also provide installation and training services.
